Gorgeous! Lucky you, Rachael. My Hebrew version of The Blue arrived in the mail on Friday. So wonderful to hold it in my hands. You must be getting quite a collection now.
How very cool. The cover is completely different to the others so far, almost romance-ish. Do you have a favourite out of all of your covers?
I hope you are a big hit in Russia, and sales have been going well elsewhere.

It certainly is romancish, Vanya. Bodice ripper I'd say!
I think my favourites are probably the US paperback (in the column to the right) and the NZ edition because I came up with the concept for it, and it has the actual butterfly on it that inspired the whole story from my own collection. So more a sentimental attachment than an aesthetic one.
But really I like them all in their own crazy way. It's just exciting seeing all the different versions, and yes, Mary I do have quite a collection now! I can only hope that my next one has as much luck.
I bet that was an image of Sophie you never imagined - quite funny - in a wonderful way - congratulations. What a tan :)

Whoa, haven't looked at blogs for a while, but just glanced down the blogs I read and... that's Russian! Admittedly not words I know (my Russian is extremely rusty), but unmistakably Russian.
Obviously you know this, it was just a big surprise to see. :) Congratulations! That's fantastic to have people loving your book in so many different places around the world.
So, can you get the Russian version in New Zealand? Mother's Day is coming up, and my mum DOES still speak Russian.... Could be a cool kind of present, a book in Russian by a Kiwi author! :)
Hi Ruth - sorry but I have no idea how to get a copy here! I guess there might be some way using the magic if the interweb but I wouldn't know how. At some stage I will be getting some, so you could keep in touch and I might be able to supply you with one...

It just occurred to me that (very rudely) I never replied to your generous offer. That would be great, if you do get some spares! Is there any chance I could maybe snag two, one for my mum and one for myself? I'll pay you back, of course!
Otherwise, I've checked the ozon.ru site which sells the book, and it looks like they do ship to New Zealand so I could just order through there, if that's easier for you (note: it's extremely difficult to navigate a site when you understand about one word in every five).
