We are safe.
Just a quick sign-in to let readers know my family and I are all safe after the Christchurch earthquake. One day I may recover enough to write about it, but for now we're taking it day by day. Huge virtual hugs to others in Christchurch and around the country affected by this terrible disaster.

Glad to see you safe, Rachael. I'll never forget staggering around my lawn in Diamond Harbour, lovely wife upstairs somewhere, not knowing if she was out of the house, watching the dust pillars rising from the buildings falling in Lyttelton across the harbour.

Hello there Rachael, I've just read your post and my heart flipped too, what a strange upset you. Just read that you'e in Christchurch too, all my love I do hope all's well for you and yours.
On a brighter note, your books sound terrific, I shall be purchasing a copy of each and plan to devour both :D
