Almost written.
I'm a bit behind the times, but I just found this article, from the Guardian, by Anne Enright about the two books she almost wrote last year. It talks about the process of finding your way into a new book, which is something that I have been musing on a lot lately (you may have noticed).

Hi Rachael - thanks for pointing in the direction of that article - I find alot of ideas coming through when writing, the trick is to work out if the belong in one's book world or go in the trusty ideasnotebook...(relates a little to my post on Lost books too) It is a type of pre-editing I suppose, a real tightrope walk... Plus as I mentioned, love that Anne Enright, writes in the loungeroom....
